EMS is a tool that allows to monitor and control, electrical equipment installed in data centers, getting its frequency and voltage data in real time, using specific protocols and devices.

The different values EMS is able to get from an equipment installed in a data center are:

The main functionality & components EMS needs to operate are the following:
Micro Server

Device that plays the role as a server in order to provide reliable and cost-effective network connectivity for virtually any type of serial device. It features one of the smallest form factors available, with low latency, baud rates up to 230 Kbps and full modem and hardware control.


Allows to listen on the port where the microserver is connected, and concentrates the information sent by the device that is connected to microserver in the other side, validating the value type in order to identify the device and be able to parse the data gathered according to it, storing all the information read in the EMS database.


Web services platform, that allows analyzing stored information that has been extracted from the devices; thereby allowing monitoring through graphs and queries specific information using inquiries filters. Such consultations consider the following combination of data: Customer, Location, device, Frequency, Voltage.
